The Ruin Venue - A Styled Shoot

I know that we're not very deep into 2018 and it's hard to say which months were good or which ones were bad. Well, January was pretty rough. I had a sore shoulder because I dislocated it in December. That made just about every physical activity difficult to do, even sleeping was frustrating. I had a lot of weird things going on in my life that I wasn't stoked about. The one thing I was looking forward to was February. I had this grandiose plan to spend the better chunk of the month out in California and Hawaii.  The initial plan was to spend a three day weekend with my fellow reddit wedding photographers relaxing in Palm Springs. Followed by an 11-day vacation in Maui. Around the beginning of January, I realized three of my friends would be in Joshua Tree National Park for some old-fashioned camping and rock climbing. Thanks to Southwest Airlines I was able to move some flights around and land in LA four days before the Palm Springs meetup to hang out with Mark, Luke, and Trent. It's really something special seeing friends from Lancaster out of context and in a desert. I'm sure I'll get a blog post out from some of our adventures there.

While out in Palm Springs the delightful Kyndall styled and basically did all the work for this styled shoot. I'm pretty thankful for that because I know me, and I'm not great at setting up anything styled. So here are a few of my favorite images from the day! At the bottom will be a list of all the vendors!!

Thank you all so much for everything you put into this shoot! It was truly and amazing afternoon!
